Summer trends with BOBBI BROWN

How is the summer treating you'll? It's just tooo hot and humid isn't it? Well, I know I have been travelling a lot this month to places where the weather is quite pleasant and shouldn't be complaining but trust me when I travel back home for a few days it gets so difficult to even step out of the house!! I am sure even you guys must be facing the same issues. But does that stop us from going out or partying? Hell No!! And when it comes to going out, make up is an essential for me.

I've always been a fan of contouring but these days I'm totally in love with strobing. The contouring trend has been hot for a while now, and the concept is easy — by using makeup products two shades darker and lighter than your skin tone, you make features recede and pop as desired. But in practice, contouring can be a little challenging.

Instead of rounding up your best shading hues, dig out all your illuminating products. Strobing focuses exclusively on highlighter, applied where light would naturally hit your face, that includes your cheekbones, brow bones, the center of your forehead, down your nose, and on your chin. Dabbing on these soft, shimmery shades will make your complexion look radiant, fresh, and healthy while giving you an ethereal oomph that is sure to turn heads. The best part? Your skin won't feel suffocated by layers and layers of makeup in the summer heat because you're only using one extra product. This is one summer trend I've been following I'd say. The Spring Summer 2016 trend is to keep it fresh and glowy, a more natural look. I came across a few Bobbi Brown products which are perfect for strobing and created three looks for you guys while keeping in mind the summers!

The first look I created was a casual day look. Keeping in mind the heat and the fact that its a day look, I have done strobing using lighter shades and have kept the look bare and minimum. To add a fun element to my look, I tied my hair into a half top knot.

The Bobbi Brown products used for this look are-

  • Long wear cream shadow stick

  • Bronzing powder Elvis Duran 14

  • Nude finish illuminating powder

  • Long wear brow gel

  • Eye opening mascara

  • Long wear gel eyeliner

  • Caviar mini lip and eye palette

  • Art stick – Electric Pink

  • Gloss Shimmery lip gloss – Bellini

The second look is a beach look. Opposing to the above bare miminum day look, this one is bold and sensual. I've used comparatively darker tones for strobing. The smokey eyes and the beachy waves hair do just adds to the look!

The Bobbi Brown products used for this look are-

  • Bronzing powder elvis duran 14

  • Shimmer brick compact - bronze

  • Long wear brow gel

  • Eye opening mascara

  • Caviar mini lip and eye palette

  • Sheer lip color - peach sorbet 20

You never stop partying even if the heat is killing you right?! I created a sundowner party look keeping in mind the heat. The outfit I chose is in the colour white and hence went for bolder lips and sleek hair.

The Bobbi Brown products used for this look are

  • Bronzing powder elvis duran 14

  • Shimmer brick compact - bronze

  • Eye opening mascara

  • Long wear gel eyeliner
