Bombay rains are here. I shot this outfit at the end of the summer, when we got the first glimpses of the upcoming monsoons. It was gloomy outside, and I wore this outfit to contrast the dreary feeling that sets in during the rains. Denim with neon? Perfect for monsoons! I love contrasting colours this season. Also, I don't like wearing denim pants at this time of the year as it tends to get wet plus it takes time to dry out. So I prefer cotton pants or some easy material, which dries out quickly, and are easy to maintain this season.
Here I'm wearing a casual ensemble with some neon layering and added some edgy gold accessories to the outfit. I went for a Denim halter Top from Nineteen, I love how chic the top looks. It's so effortless and edgy. You can pair it up with so many different pieces of clothing and create a variety of fun looks. That's one of my favourite pick this season!
Nineteen has been my go-to shopping stop lately; I have got a couple of things from there. You can see I'm wearing a complete nineteen look here. I wore a pair of grey palazzo pants, so easy and I love how subtle and smart the pants are. Adding to the subtleness of the grey and denim, I threw a neon high low cardigan, which is casual yet smart. As I said, neon is so in during monsoons, the weather enhances the colour. I love the fact that it's finally getting a bit chilly rather than the otherwise humid climate in Bombay, and I can break into my stash of cardigans. Sometimes I have fun with layering, it gives a chic look to the outfit. It has been such a fringe- heavy season; I have been doing a lot of fringe outfits lately. I carried this classic black fringed sling bag which is so edgy yet chic.
Talking about how I accessorised this look, I went for some gold to add to the boldness of the look. Got together some tiny pretty baubles for this look, which are so adorable. They are from Miss Flurrty. Wore a long neckpiece, which is a statement on it's own but doesn't carry the attention away from my denim top. That was the whole idea about throwing some cute little accessories, which are not too loud but creates a statement. Some finger rings along with an adorable Reindeer ring! My favourite!!
To complete the look and complement the gold I wore my Zar and Luna Shoes in Metallic Gold from Vida Loca!! Aren't they modish? Saving these for winters now.
That's all about this look of mine, enjoy the pictures xx
