Hi guys, are you all enjoying the monsoons? Well, I am enjoying the weather; Mumbai has a different kind of charm during the monsoons but that doesn’t help me from worrying about the traffic and the shoot locations! Haha! So I recently got to be a part of the Que Style Takeover for a fun collaboration. QUE is Tata Cliq's social content platform where you have everything from fashion to culture and even tech. #QueMagazine is about real people and real stories. It’s for the short girl, the tall guy, the plus sized working mom, the Libran, the perfectionist, the sapiosexual, the drummer, the dreamer and the procrastinator. It’s about you. As a part of the launch for Que, I and a few other bloggers were sent the same white lace New Look dress from the Spring Summer 16 collection. We were supposed to style it in a way that would define our style because no two women are similar in their sense of style and body-type. The dress being lace is very feminine and royal looking. It could be worn maybe for a cocktail party or semi-formal event where you would love to make a statement but in a chic and subtle way. I styled it in a very chic way trying to keep the vibe fresh and stable. The color palette was kept monotonic with white, cream and gold shades. For a little layering, I went for an off white over-sized long blazer to make it a little edgy but not losing the feminine touch of the look. Since chokers are so in this season, I definitely wanted to wear one but didn’t want it to look grunge and hence went for a broad gold choker or a scarf satin choker I’d say, again keeping in mind the color palette. I opted for golden metallic heels to keep the look minimalist & classy. I did my hair in a sleek and chic looking bob with my makeup on the minimal side as well. The nude makeup is always my scene! Love it. I threw a holographic white sling which definitely worked well for this look.
Hope you enjoy the pictures XX
