Hello there! How is everyone beating this insane heat? Most of us are switching over to cotton in our wardrobes, and watermelon in our diets. It amazes me how cotton being such a lightweight and ‘simple’ fabric can still transcend into a powerful outfit with high impact. So it is that I decided to put together a look from Max Fashion with cotton as my inspiration. You see me sporting an ethnic look here but it also has a Boho Chic vibe to it. I used a nude hue as my base and teamed it with a red check kurta – the subtle cream coloured checks make for lovely detailing. This is the layering that I chose but change it as you like - pick from the large kurta collection to suit your fancy.
Now, all of you have seen how I tend to use belts with quite a few of my looks. I wore one here which complements the ensemble and adds structure. To keep up the overall ethnic mood, I opted for oxidised jewellery - a choker neckpiece and drop earrings. The smokey eye look is of course, the final touch to carry off an Indian look. I wanted my look to be bold and stand out. Also, instead of the usual mojadis, I picked up a pair of mules to create a feeling of smart formals rather than going completely ethnic.
I loved styling this look with Max Fashion and I hope you guys enjoy the pictures. Let me know what you thought of this look! xx
