VACAY - KO SAMUI!

Hey you all! How's it going? I'm back in the bay after my recent trip to Thailand to Ko Samui 💗 I'm so satisfied with this trip! I did a Island hopping trip recently with Contiki but couldn't cover Ko Samui & finally because of this one, I did that too! Feels good! It was definitely one of the places on my bucket list! This was a vacay trip with my blogger friends so it was all about just relaxing & having fun hanging out with each other.

The trip had a rocky start because my phone fell at the airport and my back camera stopped working. Yes. The worst thing that can happen to anyone, especially, when you are travelling =(

I was upset for a bit but the energy of my friends around me and the thought of going to a new place wore off my sadness! Since I was travelling with my blogger friends, I really didn't have to worry about getting some lovely pictures in Ko Samui! This was needed because this wasn't any kind of a site seeing trip so it was very relaxed and we were super laid back here! Sleeping through morning and waking up in the noon, enjoying the pool, going to the the beach, massages, partying, trying out different food places and just creating memories was all we intended to do. And we did just that! The highlight of the trip was definitely the villa in Koh Samui! Damn! It was surreal. I have no words to describe the experience of being there and the feels! We stayed at Rock Water for 3 days and it was beyond beautiful! The villa consisted of 3 rooms, a living area, kitchen & ofcourse the infinity pool! The view extended to the lush green coconut trees & the beach! Other than the villa the Full Moon Party at Koh Phangan was epic! To top it all, it was Nikhil's birthday so it was a perfect way to celebrate! What fun! We used to hang at Chaweng Walking Street, eat food there, hit the beach, get a massage & check out some street shops. One of the weirdest things I did on this trip was hold an Iguana! I never ever in my life imagined to do something like that as lizards are one of my weaknesses! So I did it just to overcome my fear and I actually feel better after doing it, though I'm still very scared of them but yes it's a little better now! :P Feels like an achievement to me :)

If I had to talk about a magical moment, it was definitely the boat ride on our way back from the Full Moon Party! We hired a private boat taxi from Koh Phangan to Ko Samui and guess what we were so sceptical about it! But trust me, that ride was one of the most memorable experience for all of us! We all were quite, busy star gazing and lost in our own thoughts! I also spotted a shooting star! :') I felt so grateful to experience that journey because it was all about enjoying the present moment. We also went to some really cool beach clubs, to name a few - Elephant beach club, Combo beach club & The Library.

We surely had a long travel day to reach Ko Samui as we didn't get direct flights! But in the end it was worth it! The the company was great and that pretty much sorts out most worries. So no complaints! Not even for my phone that conked off! The last two days of the trip were spent in Bangkok which allowed us some shopping and we sure did love that part! It was a complete leisure trip with no agendas and plans of visiting sites or looking up the architecture & I fell in love with Ko Samui! I still can't get over the beautiful villa! Ahaaaa! The thought of it makes me wanna go back! That's definitely something that I'll recommend to all. Pack your bags, book the tickets and just go to a place to relax yourself. It will be worth it. And don't forget to enjoy the pictures xx
